Does the IZH-46M prefer a certain brand or style of pellet?
What works best in yours?
Just thought I would ask, as to save myself from buying
one's that do not work as well / not as accurate.
Or does it make that much of a difference?
Thanks!

Mine likes Nygord and RWS Hobby
But shoots just about anything that's not too heavy.

Mine found Geco's acceptable and they are inexpensive.
FWIW:
When I tested my IZH-46 from a rest with my wide array of pellets collected over the years. The RWS Geco was among the top pellets that it shot. The Geco is a light pellet (originally 6.8 grain latest 7.2g) and the top 5 were all light.
As it shot these well and I could buy them in quantity from Champion Shooter Supply for $2.50/500 the choice was made.

Re: IZH-46M Pellet preference?
I shoot JSB Pistol Match green label exclusively. It will drill a 10 shot group just slightly larger than the pellet from a machine rest(actually a vise) at 10m. But it has been my experience that this AP will shoot anything I put in it.
Just wish I could do as well.

Re: IZH-46M Pellet preference?
Try 4 or 5 different pellets and then go with the one you like the best. Often those you believe shoot better do! Confidence in your equipment clears the clutter in the mind. Some guns like everything others are more picky. I prefer results from tests conducted how I shoot over machine rests, since so far I have not convinced anyone to let me use a rest at a match, formal or informal ;~)
I am capable of 9's or better and when the 8's and now and then a 7 happens I know it was me and not the equipment. My goal is to turn those 9's into 10's and not even consider the possibility of 8's let alone the 7!: Does the IZH-46M prefer a certain brand or style of pellet?
