Browning Hi Power GP target 9mm?

Post by Flattop »

Hi everyone! This is my 1st post here, please go easy on me!
Does the Browning HP GP qualify as International shooting type gun?
I was hoping to post the HP as a "want to trade" for a target .22, preferably an olympic style gun such as the Walther GSP.
After my 2nd shoulder surgery, i feel my target guns must all be rimfire for the near future.

I own one of these for Norwegian Field Shooting we have going here. It's a dedicated target pistol but don't think there's any international academic shooting discipline with 9x19.

Oh but of course. Didn't realize it as clubs here tend to forbid 9mm on 25m ranges to avoid ruining electronic scoring systems.
