I just realized that the rear sight of SSP is made easy to change.
"""
For rapid changeover to other settings (e.g. from precision to duel), the
complete rear sight assembly can be removed in one easy movement and
later fitted back onto the pistol in precisely the same position.
"""
Price for extra sight is about 130€.
Does anyone have more than one rear sight?
Would it be worth the money?

I tried but found altering the required number of clicks proved less hassle.
Re: Two rear sights for Walther SSP?
Gehmann also sells a dual height front sight for the GSP. Not sure if it would fit an SSP.

Definitely less expensive than a whole new rear sight assembly.

Re: Two rear sights for Walther SSP?
I have a Dope Card for each gun I shoot at different diatances. When I go between 50 feet, 25 yards and 50 meters, I can see how many clicks
I need to move. Its not overly complicated at all. The key to making it work is to always go to the same set point at the end of shooting. Im normally at 25 yards, so I always dial the gun back there after Im done shooting a different distance.

Re: Two rear sights for Walther SSP?
Thanks, good tips.
One thing what I thinking of two rear sight is that it could give a possibility use wider rear notch for rapid fire pistol. Because now we can use same pistol for rapid fire pistol and old advice was that wider rear sight notch is better for rapid shooting.
But maybe it's over kill accessory.

Re: Two rear sights for Walther SSP?
Same.... when I had my SSP and SSPes I also had 2 rear sights - one of which I never used - as it's just as easy, if not easier, just to adjust the elevation screw.deadeyedick wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 4:28 am I tried but found altering the required number of clicks proved less hassle.
