.700 choke; 00 shot

Post by atomicgale »

I know this is WAY off-topic for this forum; however, any opinion on sending 00-buck thru a .700 light-full stainless choke from a 20" barrel?

Compared to Improved-Cylinder, would a .700 produce a slightly tighter group, or would the .33 deform & produce a sprayed pattern.

I'm definitely NOT a shotgun guy; thought I'd ask . . . .

I suppose as long as they stay at least .32 in diameter it's legal for CF.

It would do as well as some here with their .32s.

But, to answer his question: you can only try and see, but either would be fine for social work.
