Walther LGR had no pressure

So I headed to the basement tonight, picked up the LGR went to cock it and nothing. A no pressure cocking stroke ? Stroked rifle probably a dozen times and walla pressure !? Shot two targets approx 25 shots no problems. What gives. Does the cylinder get lubed ?

Just went down and shot again, I might have been short stroking it and not hitting the cocking reset. Been a couple hard days at work ...
