Hämmerli slide issue

My less than a year old Hämmerli Xesse is not locking back when the magazine is empty. I have heard that this is a common issue but is there a fix?

Typically its because the slide catch nut has loosened. Remove your grips. An allen wrench goes through the right side of the receiver. Hold the nut in place on the left side with a socket/nut driver/wrench and tighten it. Do not over tighten; make sure the catch rotates freely up and down.
