Scope caps for Aimpoint Hi Micro

Post by bentrod »

I lost the Scope caps for my Aimpoint Hi Micro, where do I find replacements? And how do I make adjustments until I find replacements?

Thanks

Have you tried contacting Aimpoint?

Google "Aimpoint Adjutment Tool" and you'll get lots hits. Amazon can get you one in a few dayshttps://www.amazon.com/AimPoint-12207-M ... B00T81NP18

Much prefer the tool versus the caps

Brownells carries replacements, crazy money for what they are https://www.brownells.com/optics-mounti ... 81235.aspx. I did buy a set as I lost mine at the range :-(

If you shoot outdoors, remember the caps seal out moisture. IMO if you aren't getting rained on, they're optional. But I keep close track of mine when adjusting.

I made scope caps using aftermarket caps available at Primary Arms (https://www.primaryarms.com/MCategories ... ccessories), which fit the Aimpoint H1. I bought two sets and cut off the deeper caps from each; these fit Fred Totts lens extension tubes perfectly). I connected the caps with a piece of cord and used black Sugru to glue cord to each cap. See attached image. These caps tightly seal the lens tubes keeping out dirt and the orange cord makes them easy to locate on bench or in gun box. Cheers, dipnet

Thanks for this. Saved a bunch of searching...
