Suooter.com electronic scorer

suooter.com

Anyone facile with written Chinese?

This is company sponsored by Chinese national shooting association. Products made by their MIT equivalent university lab. Supposed to “out Sius” Sius products.

@GWhite, can you ask your MIT students who are facile with Chinese to ask about the prices of their products?

From Chrome you can right click and translate the whole page to English.
It works quite well.

The translator process works remarkably well, but I didn't see any information about pricing.

I've sent them an email (in English). When their reply arrives I will post it here.

Interesting. Always nice to see competition.
But once translated, Every target talks about 10m and air pistol/rifle regardless of the target type chosen.

Happy to offer my services as a Technical Writer for their English webpage and manuals in exchange for equipment. :)
Oddly the user manual is in English. But only seems to cover the acoustic and not the optical targets.

And perhaps a quibble: COM connections and Video splitters? Really? How 1980's.

Do electronic targets usually include bullet traps for 25 and 50m?

Questions I would have:

Would it be possible to use these types of systems with all calibres? I'm assuming the front is probably on designed for 22lr. But if a stronger deflector was used, could they handle all calibres?
