Just to throw a wrench into the works: I got a THIRTY shot group the size of the test targets you showed using the last sleeve of RWS Basics I bought.
It's all about the pellet lot. Nothing else seems to matter.

Something I forgot to add. The Eley Tenex also had more consistent 4.49 head diameter vs the R-10 match. Again, just a test based on curiosity, nothing more.

When i was young and stupid i do this :
Buy special ppremium pellet pistol with extra money
Now...i just use cheaper rws mk any type (for pistol and rifle)
Which cheaper i will take. No different
You shoot with off hand ( single hand ) do you think excelent
Air pistoll ammo will make your hand steady ? No ...lol
But in competition i use rws black . Because this ammo can Seeking 10 even you off target lol.

Re: Best Match Pellets for Steyr Evo10
I used to shoot my Evo-e with R10 then one day I bought five different makes of different quality and shot the pistol at 10m clamped. The R10s made a single pellet hole with 10 shots, looked like one pellet hole. That was encouraging, at least the combination was good. The only other pellets which gave the same results were the Geko. These were the second most cheap pellets and half the price of the R10s. Guess what I've been using ever since. I shoot at 10m and 20yds and have qualified for a National final again this year shooting the Gekos.
None of the other brands came as close, Umarex, Bisley, but all the RWS were good.

These are the results of my test: https://www.olympicpistol.com/pellet-te ... lgium.html
It all depends on the gun and the series of each pellet brand and model (due to inconsistencies in the lead).

When hundreds and thousands of pellets come out of the pellet molds, eventually there will be some wear and tear inRamon OP wrote:(due to inconsistencies in the lead).
