The plastic dimples have come off my walther buttplate. I was wondering if it is against ISSF rules to replace the dimples with Top Grip material, obviously not extruding the shape of the buttplate in any way. Almost so it was the same as the Gehmann model. or is it best to just replace the dimples with better glue?
And does anyone have any glue recommendations.

Re: Glueing Top Grip on Buttplate
I had one dot that was always falling off, I would just press it back in and soon after it would come out again. Eventually I lost it, so I ordered some more and stuck one on with super glue, it hasn't moved since.

The only places where there are restritions to adding material that provides additional grip are:
7.4.2.6 Material that gives increased grip may not be added to the fore-end, pistol grip or lower part of the stock.
Hope this helps
