Walther CP2 help

Post by chieffels »

I recently acquired a Walther CP2 pistol and have no owners manual. About what year were they made? Who can help me out with filling the cylinders? The CO2 tank has an adapter on it but I don't know how much to put in. And, where can I get a manual?
P.S. That is a sweet shooter.

co2 cylinder date of production. Example...

10.90 ==> October 1990

or

14/7/93 ==> 14th July 1993

or

1.89 ==> Jan. 1989

Put adapter on CO2 tank then screw cylinder on. If tank doesn't have a riser tube, turn it upside down (you're dealing with a liquid).

To do this easy....turn on tank and wait a few seconds, turn off, unscrew cylinder. To do it hard...put in freezer for 15 minutes, screw onto tank, open valve and watch the frost melt. Weigh the cylinder, then bleed it until it weighs what it says on the side of the cylinder.

Thanks for the info. I'm not new to pistol shooting of different disciplines, but gas charged is new to me and I'm getting into more air rifle & pistol shooting.
