Importance of Pellet weight?

Post by gn303 »

Lots of mails about pellets have been posted. But I've found no information about the differences in precision according to the weight. I noticed that the light pellets about 7.50 gr were originally (to my knowledge) only available from RWS (Green Basic) or Geco, but now H&N, JSB are also offering 'light' pellets in 'match' grade!?
Is there anyone who has done some testing that proves a difference between both pellet weights? Is it worth the trouble or is it just in the mind?
What is the general opinion? Looking forward to hear your experiences and arguments.
