LP10 trigger springs

Post by 17722323 »

Just need a quick confirmation. I stripped my LP10 down because the trigger weight seemed to be ridiculously inconsistent. What I found was an overdose of loctite throughout the mechanism. The previous owner must've tried to fix their settings. Unfortunately I neglected to pay attention to which spring went where.
Now for the question, which spring is the longer of the two? 53 or 54?
Thanks in advance

From the exploded drawing, spring 53 is the frist stage spring, and 54 is the second stage spring.
In the drawing, spring 53 appears to be a bit bigger than the 54.

You can find the manual and exploded drawings in the download section of Styer's webpage http://www.steyr-sport.com

Hope this helps
