Steyr Trigger Spring ?

Post by Gwelo »

Anyone know or have knowledge of acquiring the proper trigger spring for 200-400 gr trigger release on the LP50?

From viewing this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAgiA-JIeOA it is obvious that there are two different springs available to provide the pull weight desired. In my case I have the 450-1050 gr and would like to be able to change to the 200-400 gr.

Steyr's download of the parts list with exploded view linked below only shows ONE spring, p/n 2200070015. Wonder which spring this is?

Has anyone done this mod or have experience in this area?

Thanks!

Well I am somewhat embarrassed to say that a simple call to our host has solved my little dilemma. It seems that Pilk's has the springs in stock and will be sending them out post haste! I say them due to needing two springs, one for the LP50 and the other for my LP S silhouette pistol which uses the same trigger group. Another nugget provided by Buck at Pilk's.

Thanks Pilkguns!!
