Need legislative help here in MD

Our legislature is in session again...which means the usual plague of silly bills. One is HB 879. This is supposed to be a restriction on "imitation firearms"...but it's worded in such a way that it could be taken as a ban on Olympic air rifles and air pistols. It's cross-filed as SB 742.

Any help would be most welcome. Thanks.
