Sad news

Post by Shooter »

I wanted to let ll of you know that my grandson Jason was shot and killed Friday night in Corvallis, OR outside a Shari's that he had just finished eating at. A woman was injured but not seriously. He was only 29 and had two little girls with his fiance. It hit me pretty hard. He had been having problems with day to day living, but I never thought something like this would happen.

Wow, that's horrible news. I'm really sorry to hear that, life is so unfair sometimes. Hang in there Don

Crazy coincidence, I lived in Corvallis for a few years with my ex girlfriend while attending OSU and I've ate at that Shari's many times.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I appreciate it. I went to see his mom today and she was crying most of the time. I do hope they catch the bastard She wants to douse him with gas and toss a match on him. All I want to do is to put a couple of hollow-point .22's in his heart. Oh well. Thanks again all of you. So sorry for your loss, and death is hard to bear, and out of order one is particularly hard.

We are so very sorry to hear this terrible news, Don. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
What is the world coming to, when someone can't go out for a meal and come home safe and well?!
Regards, Alex from Melbourne

(Are you the Don we had such a happy day with in Portland a few years ago? AL)
