Rover gets what he wants

Post by siordian1 »

Ok, you wanted me too. Look now upon my new to me, Pardini K58 SSP air pistol. Notice the fine Italian design, if it were red it would be a Ferrari. Far superior to that clunky Walther LPM-1, which has all the style of a old VW bus. Loading is simplicity itself,as you pull down on the charging handle, the loading chamber pops open. Close the handle, insert your pellet, close the door and you are good to go. An untrained chimpanzee or Rover could do it. She was well taken care of by JD Mahan, a fellow shooter on this forum.
Can I shoot it? After a tin of pellets my first 60 shot score is 532, I will endeavor to improve on that. See you at the range Rover.

536 huh. It will shoot better, I'm just saying.

Glad your enjoying it. By the way, at the airgun championships, someone gave me a manual (he knew I didn't have one).

I'll get it to you.

The important question is "did you beat Rover"?

No, but he can dream!

I have to admit, the K58 IS easier to operate than my LPM1, just not as classy.

Not as classy. NOT AS CLASSY?

You know, when I bought that, people accused me of trying to buy points.

I'll let you know when I shoot a better score with my new k12, than my best with the k58. (558)

Hope it's soon.

And I hope you BOTH enjoy it.

Saw George at a match this a.m. He said he had the K58 for a while and was delighted by the ability to just grab a tin of pellets and go (no mucking about with expensive cylinders, tanks, gauges, etc.).

He also said anyone who couldn't pump one of these through a match was a pussy.

I wonder what he'll do when he sees my FWB 65 stuff.

You bought a FWB-65? Says the man who famously said, "you can't by points"

I can take Roger/Rover, if he is a bit off his game and I am on mine. It's all in fun.

I'm terribly sorry but I think the Walther is my choice
