Shooting Glasses prescription lens (where to buy?)
I bought shooting glass lens from Neil from ISS before but does anyone have any other sources for prescription lenses for shooting glasses. Ex: champion, knobloch's, in 25mm, 37mm, 42mm. I heard some local places can make the bigger ones but not the 25mm?
It would be nice to just call into a shop and have them sent. I know other people maybe like me and want a few variations for different shooting. I shoot pistol, small bore and high power and each requires a slightly different lens.

I just get glasses made by zeni optical on the net, you can get many lens color, just type in your prescript, full glasses are as cheap as 10.00 a pair depending on what options you want.

Don't post these things in more than one place. Besides, Bullseye shooters are not "into" this stuff.

I was looking for people to make lens for Pistol / Rifle shooting glass frames not normal glass frames. A lot of people at least in our region use shooting glasses, Knobloch/Champion for competition.

I've spent a lot of time looking for the correct lens for the many different conditions and ranges.
Ordering from Zenni Optical allows several things to be purchased for very little money.
Alan Toler will rent you a lens kit to try at your range. He will then make the lens you select as well.

Interesting and unusual. I went to buy a pair of round lenses form my shooting glasses (not 25mm) about 12 years ago. I visited my local eyeglass vendor, ordered the lenses, and they were there and ready for me within a week. Of course that was in a small town in rural Canada. Unless the are more advanced there, I think you might find a local independent purveyor of eyeglasses, and ask them.

Hey Rover;
Do you shoot hard ball? And if you do,
Do you wear glasses?
There are many traditionalists still shooting irons, in NRA Bullseye.
There are many Bullseye shooters who practice with an Air Pistol.
So I believe it is a topic worth discussing.

I make lenses for Knoblochs. 23mm is no problem. I can also make astigmatism corrected lenses, and can work the math to get the correct focal point offset for shooting.
Lenses are $40 for polycarbonate lenses with AR coating, and there is info on my website.
