Pricing on a used Steyr LP2

Post by 45ACP223 »

Came across one, what do you guys think the market price should be for a used Steyr LP2 (approx. 5yrs. old in excellent condition)? Our host sells new LP2's for $1650.

If it's the same one I came across, it's missing its fill adapter. That's $50 right there.

You've got a 5 year old cylinder, and a grip that might or might not be the right size. If you know the grip is gonna fit, I wouldn't pay more than $1150 for it.

There have been a couple sold recently, one 950 & the other for 1050 both were in good shape and about the same age. The one for 1050 had a rink grip.

I've been watching for a friend who has been trying to pick one up in the 800's - he has been looking quite a while.

Thanks, I also was thinking that it was high for a 5 yr. old used LP2. If it is missing the fill adapter, I'll pass on this one. I'd feel more comfortable at a grand but he won't budge.
