Anschutz 19/2013 Dovetails

Post by HWN1011 »

Does anyone have dimensions for the foresight dovetail grooves on an Anschutz 1913/2013? Also need the distance from the centre of the barrel?

About 2/3 of the way down on this link Eric U has a pretty good explanation.

Distance from the center? Of the dovetail or the front sight aperture?

Thanks for the reply. The problem I was having was no access to anyone with a Anschutz 19/2013 I could measure. I am an engineer so already have the measuring pins. Luckily some one in my club has just purchased a 2013 so I will have a measure of his rifle next time I see him at the range.
I will post the drawing on here when it's done for anyone wanting it in the future.

Thanks Lee
I will take you up on that offer. Didn't realise your rifle was a 1913.

It's a 1913 in a 1914 stock - as I'm small the 1914 stock suited me better but as I only shot prone I went with the heavier 1913 barreled action! Dare I ask what you're planning?

Made some extension tubes. Want to make sure the grooves are machined in correct place to suit 20/1913 foresight.
