Steyr LP10 Dryfire

Post by conradin »

Yesterday at a PTO my LP10 kept jumping up from firing position to dry fire position, as if a spring pop up. Before I dismantle it and look for answer and try to fix it, does anyone have that experience and can tell me the quickest way to fix it? It became such a distraction it completely screwed up my rhythm. Every time I am ready the cocking lever pop up and it is back up dry fire mode again. sometimes I have to cock it THREE times just so it stays in firing mode.

Have you tried looking at the Steyr Service Videos?

Conradin;

David is right.
Find the video on "barrel adjustment".
Every Steyr owner should watch those videos they produced.
