FWB reseal instructions

Post by jeepman »

I have a new-to-me FWB 601 that needs a reseal. I have poked around looking for instructions on the interweb, to no avail. I did find reference to a link to a site that is defunct (bad link: http://airrifle.tumke.nl/FWB601/FWB601% ... index.html )

Anyway, i am very mechanically adept, and want to do this myself. If anyone has instructions or tips it would be helpful. I have been quoted $110 for factory seal and buffer kit.

Appreciate it, Andy

You could PM Jim E, if I'm not mistaken, he was the person who posted the site.

Try this link:

https://web.archive.org/web/20110407172 ... index.html

Often, when a website goes away, there are archive snapshots located at
https://archive.org/web/

It's a great resource.
In this case, the Waybackmachine archive site even has the pictures associated with the original page you are looking for.

Hope this helps you in your airgun service.
