Since there was some debate over whether I should purchase the LP10 compact or long, I decided to get an entry level air pistol and see how I'm doing before buying the LP10. First I got an Avanti 747, but it lost pressure while I was still sighting it in. So while it is at the manufacturer getting repaired, I purchased an IZH 46M with trigger upgrade.

i'm still sighting it in. The issue I'm having is difficulty reaching the trigger without rotating my hand around to the point I get no support from the plate on the bottom of the grip. When I hold the grip the way that want to hold it, my fingertip contacts the right edge of the trigger, so I am prevented from pulling it straight back.
So basically, I am wondering whether this trigger is adjustable to have a different position that will be easier to reach, or if I need to sand down the grip to allow me to reach the trigger. Combination of both?

Re: Adjusting Air Pistol
The standard blade trigger has a shorter reach. IMO, the adjustable trigger is a bit of a gimmick.ihasagun wrote:....I am wondering whether this trigger is adjustable to have a different position that will be easier to reach....

Re: Adjusting Air Pistol
There is material at the rear of the adjustable silver trigger post that can be filed to let the trigger move further back, about 3/32" while still leaving material around the clamping screw. It is aluminum so it files easy. On mine I flipped the trigger blade too because I like the reach/feel/pull better that way. Just some ideas to maybe help you sort yours.
