Firing Problems with LP400 Carbon

Post by craigp »

Hello All,

Has anyone had an issues with their LP400 firing? Last night at practice, I experienced what I percieve to be a double burst of air, or maybe a lag with the burst itself. It is hard to tell exactly, but it happens every fourth to fifth shot. I can feel it throughout the grip, and once I even heard a mechanical click, almost like the gun fired again after the shot. I have contacted champion choice where I bought the gun to see what they say. I have made no adjustments what so ever to the trigger, it is factoryset still. I will let everyone know what the problem is when I find out.

Some early pistols (2010-2011) have had some valve O ring problems.
The 2012 revision D has a new style valve fitted.
If you do not have a valve problem, you do not have to change the valve.
Also a later revision H changed the trigger spring assy.

Thanks David for the info. I bought mine over this past summer in 2013. Not sure how to tell what the year of manufacture is. I do know the serial #. I imagine this is a symptom that hopefully champ choice will know what to do.

To upgrade the valve to the revision H (2013) , it appears you need items
115 - part 2798379
116 - part 2798034
196 - part 2626128
setscrew 82 and 139 are the same. M4x0 35x3
as well as the spring.
