PM me if you want, I know the springs well. Include items like, duration of stay, do you have a vehicle or do you need to be within walking range, do you need a kitchen, price range, etc.

Hit the Phantom CanyonBrewery first. You won't care where you stay!

Love that place! Great beer and food!

When I lived in the Springs I was there constantly.

I went to this place when I was at the JO's last April. Nice but my experience was spoiled when the guy in the table sitting next to me decided to get up at the exact same time that the waitress came by with a platter full of beers. I was drenched from head to toe. Didn't even offer me a free beer either.

When are you going? If you are going for winter air there will be space and meals at the OTC itself. If for something else, or if you signup too late, there are three military bases with lodges in the area, if you've an ID card.

Give me some idea of how close you want to ne.

OK ... this is not the most ritzy place in the Springs by any means, but we stay here when we go up to the PTOs. Inexpensive & close to the OTC

It is the Econolodge at 714 N Nevada - just north of Boulder St.. Maybe about 5-6 minutes from the South gate ... (have they finished the East gate yet? If so add another minute or so for the light at Boulder & Union)

Just in case you missed it:

http://www.phantomcanyon.com/

I read the reviews. Some moron complained that there was a head on his beer. Not much credibility there, eh!
