arm position control > aiming

is this article from Scatt talking about rifle or pistol, or both??

If it is for pistol, do you agree arm positional control is more important than aiming?

Read 'arms position control' as 'hold'

Focus on the hold and let the trigger release 'without thought' is what Alexander is getting at. The coordination trace shows if this is happening amongst other things.

I would say both rifle and pistol, tho I'm a rifle shooter primarily, the pistol experts may think differently.

If arm position (pre-, shot, post-) during the whole shot process is more important than aiming, what the heck for looking at the front sight vigilantly all those years ?

Because the front sight is the last point on the prolongation of your arm; looking at that you can have better control of your arm's position!

Excellent argument . Totally agree with front sight as an extension of arm position argument :))
