(L to R: Foundation Director Buddy DuVall, Vincent Hancock, Ryan Hadden, Matt Emmons, winners Joe and Michele Diedrich, Jamie Gray, Amber English, Frank Thompson, Corey Cogdell and Kayle Browning)
Baron Technology teamed up with Kimber manufacturing, Canal Street Cutlery, Nutmeg Sports and Hampels Woodland Products to create three custom Kimber .45 caliber STS Target II pistols and knife sets for USA Shooting to auction at selected conventions. Each special serial numbered Kimber is fully hand engraved by Rob Bunting, and each is paired with a matching engraved Catskill hunter knife by Canal Street Cutlery. Guns and knives are fitted with antique ivory grips by Nutmeg Sports. Each set comes in a beautiful American walnut display case hand crafted by Hampels Woodland Products. Two sets have been auctioned so far, one at the Dallas Safari Club Convention and one the Wild Sheep Foundation Show, to raise money for the USA Shooting Team. A third set will be auctioned at the Western Hunting Conservation Show Feb. 21 - 24. Thus far these unique and stunning items raised a combined total of over $45,000. The USA Shooting Team Foundation would like to thank our sponsors for their generosity as well as those attending the auctions.
