10m Air Pistol Sight Question

I've been practicing the sub-6 sight hold recently, so this question is more out of curiosity than anything: do the official ISSF rules allow you to paint your front sight? I've tried to find the answer in the rulebook, but I didn't find anything. Did I just miss it?

No restrictions, you can what ever colour you like. But it is very hard to go past flat black.

As David says, you can pick any colour you fancy. I know of people who have experimented with other colours, but I don't know any that stuck with it.
