2012 Paralympic Games!!!

Post by debsguns »

Subject: FW: Connect to Team USA at the 2012 Paralympic Games!

The 2012 Paralympic Games are just days away and our Paralympic communication’s team would like to share the passion and excitement of the Games with you, your employees and online audience by offering your organization free access to our daily video news content.

The U.S. Olympic Committee has secured the rights to broadcast the games in the United States – meaning our writers, photographers and camera crews will be creating multiple daily news and feature stories about Paralympic athletes, competitions and other London events. This will be in addition to the 600 hours of live web streaming done by the International Paralympic Committee, as well as highlight shows on NBC Sports Network (Sept. 4, 5, 6 and 11 at 7 p.m. ET) and NBC on Sept. 16 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Our daily video content will be available on our You Tube channel (www.youtube.com/usparalympics) and we encourage you to share it on your organization websites and Facebook pages or link to it through electronic newsletters or other channels. You can pick and choose what videos to share with your audience. It’s as easy as clicking “Share” on the video and then following the instructions to embed it on a website, post it on Facebook, etc.

The U.S. Paralympic web site, www.usaparalympics.org, houses the 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team media guide, and throughout the Games, will have athlete feature stories, photo galleries and other Team USA highlights. Anyone interested in receiving our daily email updates, can sign up through this link:

If you have any technical questions related to sharing the online content, please contact Jamie Blanchard at Jamie.Blanchard@usoc.org. Photo requests should be directed to Emily Lewis at Emily.Lewis@usoc.org.

Thank you for helping us support, recognize and share what we know will be a great performance by Team USA in London!
