CROSMAN PELLGUN OIL - safe for FWB c25 and Walther CPM?

Post by john_almighty »

Hi All,

my club has a few walther CPM-1 and FWB C25 co2 air pistols which have been lying without much use inside boxes for over 2 years now. The seals seem to have hardened. I want to re-lube the guns so that the members can start using it again. I have ordered CROSMAN PELLGUN OIL.

i don't have much prior experience with CO2 guns so wanted to make doubly sure that this oil is safe to use on the seals and 0-rings in the pistols. especially the o-rings in the cylinder.

I do know you are not supposed to use PELLGUN Oil for compressed air like LP10.

Looking for advice as I dont want to break these beauties.

Thanks
John

Since no one is answering you: the Crosman stuff is fine, it's silicon based as opposed to the seal-damaging petroleum products.

I don't know if it will do much to "revive" seals, but it won't hurt to try,
