still stumped, $1k target rifle

Post by pcw »

I have been reading, searching, looking at sale sites and I'm still stumped. It seems that there are plenty of options out there and I've seen some nice pictures but nothing is exactly a turnkey product. I like the CZ 452 mod posted on here and I'm waiting to see J H Martin's CZs. I'm still looking at the CM2s and maybe a used 1903, but I'm also looking at the Eastern Sierra Arms biathlon stock for the Savage mkII. There are no competitive programs here so I don't have to worry about regs and rules.

My daughter just visited a Biathlon program and had a good time. As I understand it, if she joins the program, They'll let her check out a Ismash 7-3 and take it home. I know that 's not exactly a 3p rifle but I guess it could be used as such. It would be nice just to check that out and spend my money on other things, but I would like something of my own. I just don't know what.

I am also convinced now that a pcp air rifle would get the most use and I've seen some good ones listed here. By the time I see them however they're gone. What's a guy to do!

Explore what some of the different shooting programs have to offer and try them out and then decide what she would like to pursue. Discuss what goals you and your daughter would like to pursue both long term and short term.

Talk to Craig at PDC Customs http://pdccustom.com/index.php?main_pag ... ucts_id=36 .

He has a very adjustable stock to fit almost any .22 rifle You can imigine.

He's very reasonable and "Junior Shooting Sports" friendly.
