Needing used parts for a Walther LGR Uni....

Post by Art Keys »

Hello Everyone,

I'm in need of many used but serviceable parts for a Walther LGR. Right now I have feelers out to the various smiths and suppliers. The major part I'm looking for is # 41 on the exploded show drawing. The action end cap where the charging handle links. Some numpty decided to hand file sight dovetails all the way back through the end cap. That is the most important part I need. If anyone has a set of the step dowels for the Universal cheek piece that would be great. Having to take measurements and make them from blk delrin now. Anyone know the "E" clip metric size for the laoding gate. Last a charging arm bumper pad would be nice too.

Hello there. If you are unable to find anyone that can help via this format try Walther direct.I have delt with the manufacturers several times for parts and have found them to be very helpful. The other option is simply ask them who the nearest agent to where you live is.
Try justadude on here.Hes a good bloke and has contacts that may be useful.
Best of luck

You could always have the grooves TIG welded up (laser would be even better), re shaped and then re blued. So long as the person doing the welding uses the right rod, the repair would be almost invisible.

Probably be faster and cheaper to just get someone to machine you a new one.
