chronograph

Post by trinity »

Hey everyone,

I have some questions about chronographs:

1) does anyone have a recommendation for a chronograph (for air pistol, sport pistol, mostly pistols)?
2) I will be going down to the States from Toronto soon, driving through Detroit/Toledo area, can you recommend a store to pick one up?

I use to have a Combro, but can't find it anymore. And it was also IMHO, not very good since it was finicky to get attached to pistols.

I see all sorts of chronys available on Amazon/Ebay (http://tinyurl.com/chrony2), what do you guys think about something like http://tinyurl.com/chrony1 ?

Thanks!

I use a Master Chrony all the time outdoors for pistols with no complaints and once a bunch of us all shot their air pistols over it in my basement while holding a quartz light over the top. It never faultered but I have no idea about other brands. When outdoors you can swing your hand over it without the shields and go about 50-60 fps if you get with it. -- Bill --

Have a look at the CED chronograph. Use the irfared screens for indoor airpistol.
