Does anyone know anything about this pistol. It bears more than a passing resemblance to a Margolin (cousins I imagine). I cannot find anything about it on the internet (in English) other than a description of trigger setting on www.potfire.com.au. Pic attached (from Potter). It's quite handsome!

I didn't find anything on Igor's blog but it lead me to one of the Russian shooting federation websites http://www.shooting-ua.com/ which is, understandably, in Russian. However, Yahoo! Babel Fish (babelfish.yahoo.com) has a facility to translate whole web pages and although some of the translation goes awry, it is possible to find all sorts of interesting information in their document libraries, again all in Russian but Babel Fish "translates".

It turns out that Igor's blog does have information on this and other Russian sport pistols but under the designation MTs (МЦ), not MC as above. The pistol above is an MTs1-2 rapid fire pistol thgough I cannot find a date for it. Igor's information is quite sparse.
There is more information (of sorts) on the GunBoards forum from Joe Leiper in Sept. 2009 (http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread. ... ire-pistol) though, unfortunately, the illustrating photos are no longer avaialble.
I couldn't easily find any information on the Ukrainain Shooring Federation site.
