What has been improved on Aw93 since sn 3407?

Hi guys, I got a question about the AW93.
I am thinking of getting an AW93 and can get a pretty good deal on an early one, I believe it has a sn around 5000ish.
After searching all over the place I couldn't find any information about the differences between the older ones and the newer sn20000+ ones.
Can any of you guys help me out here?

try the exploded diagrams from feinwerkbau.
print them and study them to spot the differences.

I've heard a few stories about the slides disintegrating - anyone know the cause and if its been fixed?
