Has any one tried reloading the 45acp brass with small primers?
Are the loads the same as large primer loads?
I was thinking of reloading them for tactical matches, I have a small primer
Dillon set up I could use.

Jake, I have not tried reloading them but I suspect that you will need more powder in order to achieve the same velocity as you do with the large primers. I have noticed a significant drop in velocity between certain brands of large primers and I think this would be even more true for small pistol primers.

I tried it with standard WSP primers with both Clays and VV N-310. Worked as well as the same loads with WLP but I did not chrono them. If one had a plentiful supply of the small primer brass then it would be worthwhile reloading. I reloaded the few I found for curiosities sake - I relegate the few i find to the scrap pile.
