Hammerli SP20

Post by mld »

I slugged the barrel of my new SP20 S/N 514XX and came up with a dimension of .3115.
Should I go with this dimension and order some .312 H&N bullets or is my micrometer in need of repair? Has anyone measured one of these barrels lately?
Thanks for your input.

I don't think a soft H&N bullet of 314 would cause you a problem even if your bore is about 312.

I have a new SP20RRS and the barrel measured at .3135"
Loading both 98g HBWC and 90g cast BNWC (.314) using oversize dies and .314 necksizer.

David, how could you, after all the mean things you've said about the accuracy (or should that be inaccuracy) of the .32 S&W long!
