Level 3 USAS/NRA/CMP Coach Certification Course

Post by 76Olympian »

I am surveying every junior shooting coach on Target Talk.

USA Shooting is considering running multiple USA Shooting/NRA/CMP Level 3 Coach Certification Courses (rifle and pistol and hopefully shotgun) here at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

We would like to know:

1. Those that are currently level 1 or 2 Certified Coaches, would you be interested in attending a level 3 certified coach course in your discipline here at the Olympic Training Center?

2. Would your club be interested in hosting a level 3 Coach Certification Course in your area?

Please email me your reply/response.

Mike,

I like the thought behind this survey. I know, from experience, that it is better to have the "OTC Experience" when taking the coach course but, unfortunately, not everyone can make it to CO. The possibility of having them offered in different locations might be easier for some coaches to plan on attending.

Level 3 courses in other locations

Post by 76Olympian »

You are absolutely right about having them at other locations and I'm getting emails that are offering to host Level 3 courses in other locations.

This is what I was hoping to find along with those who want to take a level 3 course.

I'm getting about 3 replies per day and they keep coming.

All of these I am sharing with Marcus Raab/NRA who would coordinate these courses across the country.
