Old Army JROTC t200's

Post by NJROTC Inst »

I now a lot of the Army JROTC units are transitioning from T200s to the Daisy 887 CO2 guns. Des anyone know what the Army units are doing with their old t200s. They are perfect size for itty bitty junior shooters to start on.

Curious as to why they are getting rids of T200's.
I just got 2 from an NRA grant and I absolutley hate the sights that were delivered. They were unusable (even cheaper chinese chinese-sights).

Are you talking about XSV-40's? ... those would be older, but Pilkguns can fix those up I'd think.

Checking further, several of the folks were calling them T200s but they are the xsv-40's. I am not sure why they are going CO2. I know my school is making ugly noise about me using CO2 in my current 888's and that is why I am looking at PCP options on the cheap. Navy won't spring for anything else. I like the small size of the xvs-40. I have my 10 yr old daughter shooting both an Air Force and the Crosman 2009 to see which one fits her best and what she is most comfortable with but I have a couple 14 year old freshman who are really tiny and the crosman is just too big.
