looking for scoremaster.22

Post by broadsideofabarn »

I am new to your forum and my name states my shooting abilities sometimes, that's why I would really appreciate some help locating PMC Scoremaster .22s . They made me look good when I took out my favorite .22 Unfortunately the last 2 bricks I had got lost in a divorce, and I need all the help I can get. Does anyone have any leads? There was one post about someone here who had 2 cases, and I have tried to contact them but no luck. Thanks.

scoremaster

I think the closest you are going to get to this ammo, unless someone has some old stock, is Eley Sport or Aguila Standard velocity. They were made the same place as the newest scoremaster and are similar but not exactly the same. If your gun can handle the faster velocity, try some Federal automatch or some Blazer. They will go about 1000 to 1050fps out of a bullseye pistol and the others will go about 940

thanks! I have tried the eley in the past and they didn`t work as well as the pmc, but there is always the agulia. I am also shooting it out of a carl gustaf rifle , of which I do not know the model number, but really need to identify. any thoughts? it does have HVA CARL GUSTAF SWEDEN FORENADE FABRIKSVERKEN on it as well as .22long rifle. it is a single shot bolt , heavy with a super light trigger. the bolt handle broke ( it was a hollow tube with springs & things inside of it) and all the local gunsmith could find/do was to put a threaded bolt in it`s place. it works but I would like to find the right part. any help is appreciated. THANKS !

22 gustav rifle

Your best bet for the bolt is to list the name of the rifle on some forums to see if anyone would know about them. Someone from Europe might have an idea of what is available.
For accuracy, your next step up is to buy some wolf or SK standard velocity. It is liked by more guns than any other premium ammo and is likely to do the job for you but is about twice the price of the aguila but is half the price of others.
