Burris Fast Fire on 1911
I mounted a Burris Fast Fire II on a 9mm 1911 that I (with some help) put together. The Bomar style mount system was used and it makes for a nice compact setup. Cold weather has set in, so I haven't really had a chance to shoot it that much, but I like the sight picture that it gives. I have approximately 200 rounds through it and it seems to hold its zero. One aspect that I don't like is that the adjustments for elevation and windage are not "click" and require loosening set screws. This may be a problem for me because with my .45s I make significant elevation changes when going from 25 to 50 yards.
