Steyr LP10 Trigger mounting rail diameter

Post by Razorback »

Is there any Steyr LP10 owner with a caliper that can help me out by measuring the diameter of the trigger mounting rail?

Im looking for a replacement trigger that will fit on a 4mm mounting rail.
Hints of any other gun brands using 4mm trigger mounting rail is also appreciated.

Thanks

I am not sure of the exact diameter, but the only triggers I think that are available are the standard LP2 trigger (which I prefer), the tec-hro version (which is nasty after a while, particularly with anything close to 500grams trigger weight) and there is a version that mec do that is similar to the morini trigger blade. There is a manel version which I have tried which isn't very good at all for the price!

Other than that, it's make your own time :-) I have experimented with making some slightly wider blades for the existing post, up to 11mm across which certainly do make a difference.

If your mounting piece is broken, you can get new ones from Steyr pretty much free of charge.

Mine turned from an omega shape to a U shape. Steyr send me a new one four days later free of charge.

I’m not looking for a replacement trigger to a LP10, its for a Hämmerli FP60

I believe its the same trigger on FWB pistols and rifles.
I refer to this design, used in many FWB models, my coach has it on his LP1.

P44 has a different trigger, but I bet it is compatible too...

To answer your specific question.
The Steyr LP 10 & LP 2 Compact rail measures 157 thousandths. The LP10 trigger is adjustable for up and down travel and rotates.

Hi Razorback,

Did the LP10 trigger fit onto the FP60?

Did you find anything else that fit onto the mounting rail?

Why did you decide to change the trigger on your FP60?

Any info would be appreciated as I am looking at getting one.

Thanks,
