Walther GSP

I have an chance to purchase a GSP in 22lr. I have looked at a lot of pics of GSPs and not seen one like this one. It has the trigger release mechanism in the bottom of the trigger bar. On most semi auto the release mechanism is either behind or above the trigger. This one it is below the trigger in the lower part of the trigger bar. Help????

The older GSPs had a trigger unit like that. They work fine if you like a single-stage trigger. You can replace it with a 2-stage unit if you like.
