Morini Air Cylinder Leaking

I have a Morini 162EI that I haven't shot in quite some time. I got it out and discovered that the cylinder that was off the pistol was dead empty. I pumped it back up, and after a couple days, it was down to a little more than half full. The cylinder that was on the pistol was still over half full after close to a year.

I bought the pistol several years ago, and although I haven't used it much, I assume it (and the cylinders) are out of warranty. A replacement from our host is $175 (ouch). I originally bought the pistol from ISS, and I assume they have cylinders as well. This one was actually a warranty replacement because the first one wouldn't screw onto the fill adapter. It has the new style gauge with red, green & yellow. The original cylinder that holds air OK has the old style gauge withthe tapered yellow arc.

Are these things something that can be repaired myself, and if so, where can I get seals & instructions? If not, does anyone have any idea of the cost & time required to get one repaired? At a minimum, it looks like I would need a special spanner to take it apart.

While I'm at it, has anyone gotten the the old style gauge replaced? I won't worry about that until I get the other cylinder fixed, but I didn't know if that was a simple job or if the only option is to get a whole new cylinder.

I've had the old style gauges replaced on both of my Morini cylinders; they started leaking within a year of each other.

It's a few years ago now but, from memory, they were about £50 each here in the UK.

One extra bonus, the needles on the new gauges actually move. I'm sure they were just painted on the old ones; they never moved.

Send the cylinder into Buck at this website host they can replace the seals or gauge. The price I think for replacing the seals is probably not more then $30, but you can call to find out for sure.
