New free pistol?

While watching free pistol match at issftv i couldnt recognize the pistol used by nestruev. it didnt look like anything i have seen before. does anybody know a thing?
On another note JIN Jong Oh used an LP10E to get gold metal at 10m air pistol.

now that was unexpected. i was so used to see only toz 35 and morini's in finals it didnt even cross my mind it was a hammerli. to be honest i thought it would be a khaidurov design.

Jin did use a LP10E to win the final.

The way he hold that LP!0E up at the end of final would make Steyr advertisment team proud.

The Hammerli 160/162 are fine free pistols. I nearly bought one last year but had to leave it after trying it out, and finding the extreme rake angle of the grip to be too much of a strain.

Look at the uploaded image (from Ruig's URL's) of Nestruev holding the Hammerli, and you can see the angle of his wrist in the hold. Too extreme for most shooters I say.

I use a Toz35 with a Morini grip and it offers a nice natural hold which is essential over the length of time during a marathon 50m match.

I shoot a 162 and do not feel the rake angle is "extreme". The rake is adjustable from what I think is an upright grip to more rake than I can shoot now. 14 years ago I was shooting more rake than now, however, I don't think the 160/162 should be excluded from consideration because of rake.
I did find the 152 as having too much rake for me recently, however, I could have shot it in the mid 1990s and I could probably get my muscles/tendons stretched enough to shoot it, too.

Agree with Freepistol: the rake is adjustable from a lot of rake to a rake similar to a modern AP (LP10 and similar) or a modern standard pistol (CM22M and similar).

People used to shoot big bore like 1911 would probably not like it, but it should not be a problem for any person used to shoot ISSF precision events.
